Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care seeks a Home Therapy PCT I HT to support home dialysis training and setup under the supervision of an HT RN. You will assist in patient intake, vital signs, and equipment readiness while coordinating with the care team for safe, effective treatment at home.

You will help with lab coordination, documentation, and maintaining infection control in a home setting, ensuring patient comfort and adherence to policy.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Experience in patient care preferred.
• CPR certification required or preferred per policy.

Responsibilities

• Reinforces home hemodialysis and/or peritoneal dialysis training as permitted by law.
• Identify and welcome patients, collect vital signs and weights, and complete intake forms.
• Coordinate with HT RN and care team to ensure accurate data and care planning.
• Assist with home equipment setup, supplies, and safe handling.
• Prepare labs, oversee specimen collection and shipping per protocol.
• Maintain clean, organized home therapy environment and infection control measures.
• Schedule appointments, coordinate reminders, and support connected health use.
• Help with inventory management and clerical duties as assigned.
