Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care in Homestead, FL seeks a Patient Care Technician (PCT) with a CCHT credential to join our home therapies team. You will support home hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis training, perform vital signs, prepare equipment, and assist with patient registration and records under the HT RN supervision.

This role requires a high school diploma or GED, and a valid PCT certification; two years of patient care experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Valid PCT national certification or CMS state-specific certification.
• All appropriate state licensure, education, and training required.
• Two years of patient care experience preferred.
• Experience in hospital settings or related facilities preferred.

Responsibilities

• Reinforces home hemodialysis (HHD) and/or peritoneal dialysis (PD) training as permitted by law.
• Identifies patients, obtains vitals/weights, and gathers information for intake forms.
• Maintains communication with HT RN, care partners, and staff; documents data in records.
