Job summary

CB2 in Berkeley is seeking a Designer who can turn customer visions into elevated spaces. You will guide clients through in-store and virtual consultations, create mood boards, and deliver tailored design packages that align with brand standards.

You will leverage 2D/3D floor plans, product lists, and compelling presentations to drive sales while maintaining outstanding presentation and knowledge of product details.

Qualifications

• Experience applying basic design functions to client spaces.
• Strong communication and presentation skills with customers.
• Familiarity with design tools and trend awareness.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales and create a differentiated customer experience in-store and in-home.
• Develop moodboards and 2D/3D floor plans, product lists and client presentations.
• Lead design consultations in person, via email, phone or virtual meetings.
• Deliver projects on time while aligning with brand aesthetics and merchandising strategy.
• Maintain product knowledge and communicate care information and trends to customers.
• Support design services training and educate staff on offerings.
• Build lasting client relationships through networking and clienteling.
• Stay up to date on current design trends and technology tools.
