Job summary

Cedarparktexasedc is seeking a full-time Pharmacy Technician based in Austin, Texas at Ascension Rx Home Delivery. This role involves providing pharmacy services, ensuring safe medication delivery, and maintaining pharmacy inventory.

How you’ll make an impact in this role

• Provide distributive pharmacy services and technical support to pharmacists to ensure safe and efficient medication delivery.
• Refill, maintain, and troubleshoot automated dispensing systems to support continuous pharmacy operations.
• Prepare medication orders, repackage bulk medications, and manage pharmacy inventory to ensure accuracy and availability.
• Receive, inspect, and properly store incoming supplies in accordance with storage and safety standards.
• Act as a liaison between the pharmacy, patients, and healthcare professionals by communicating accurate information and supporting timely resolution of inquiries.

What minimum requirements you’ll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• Pharmacy Tech credentialed from the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) preferred. Must possess all state and local qualifications.
• Pharmacy Tech credentialed from the National Healthcareer Association preferred. Must possess all state and local qualifications.

Education:

• High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
• Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.

What additional preferences we're seeking

• TX Registered Pharmacist Technician Registration is needed for this role.
• 2+ years of Pharmacy Technician experience.
• Home Delivery experience.
• 2+ years of Retail or Mail Order Pharmacy Technician experience, preferred.
