Job summary

Ascension in Austin, TX is seeking a Pharmacy Technician for Home Delivery Pharmacy Services. This full-time role supports pharmacists, maintains automated dispensing systems, manages inventory, restocks supplies, and serves as a liaison to patients and healthcare professionals within a patient-centered home delivery setting.

Candidates should have a HS diploma or equivalent and 1 year of relevant experience; state/local qualifications must be met.

Qualifications

• Pharmacy Tech credentialed from the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) preferred. Must possess all state and local qualifications.
• Pharmacy Tech credentialed from the National Healthcareer Association preferred. Must possess all state and local qualifications.
• Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacists with distributive services and technical support.
• Maintain and refill automated dispensing systems.
• Manage pharmacy department inventory, order preparation, and bulk medication repackaging.
• Receive and store supplies.
• Communicate with patients and act as a liaison between patients, healthcare professionals, and the pharmacy.
