Job summary

Factory Direct Enterprises LLC d/b/a Ashley (FDE) is seeking a motivated Home Delivery Lead to support daily warehouse operations and ensure safe, accurate, and efficient deliveries. You will lead loadout, inspect lanes, resolve issues, and coordinate with drivers and teammates to keep the operation running smoothly.

You will contribute to a culture of safety, training, and accountability, using Excel and company systems to track routes, report on performance, and drive continuous improvement

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Prior warehouse, home delivery, logistics, or related operational experience preferred.
• Previous lead or team-support experience preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Working proficiency with Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support daily Home Delivery loadout operations.
• Inspect and verify delivery lanes to ensure orders are accurate, complete, and ready for delivery.
• Assist delivery teams with order discrepancies, merchandise issues, and delivery-related concerns.
• Coordinate and inspect redelivery packages and special delivery inspection requests.
• Communicate effectively with drivers, warehouse Team Members, and management to identify and resolve operational issues.
• Monitor daily workflow and support established productivity and efficiency standards.
• Utilize company computer systems and Microsoft Excel to track routes, manage operational information, and support reporting.
• Maintain accurate operational documentation and information.
• Ensure compliance with company safety policies and procedures.
• Provide day-to-day direction, support, guidance, and training to Team Members to promote safe and efficient loadout operations.
• Participate in daily huddles, staff meetings, and required training sessions.
• Perform additional tasks and duties assigned by management based on operational and business needs.
