Job summary

Crate & Barrel is seeking a Sales Associate to guide customers toward home décor solutions, drive sales, and uphold brand standards on the sales floor. You will engage customers, educate them on products, and promote loyalty programs while delivering a welcoming shopping experience.

You will collaborate with teammates, process payments, support merchandising, and help maintain store safety and inventory readiness in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport with customers and associates.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Retail experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales through engagement of customers, suggestive selling, sharing and demonstrating product knowledge.
• Greet customers, respond to questions, process payments, and involve higher level management as appropriate.
• Promote promotions, offers, loyalty programs, and other initiatives to customers.
• Deliver excellent service and uphold brand standards in selling, customer service, visual merchandising and teamwork.
• Support store management in accountability for store profitability and operational excellence.
• Lead by example and assist with stock, inventory, and curbside/pickup processes as needed.
• Engage in maintaining store safety standards and training.
• Maintain awareness of loss prevention, security and safety guidelines.
• Execute visual merchandising standards to engage customers and associates with products.
