Job summary

BrightSpring Health Services Corporation seeks a licensed Physical Therapist to deliver functional rehabilitation in clients’ homes, schools, workplaces, and communities. The PT will work autonomously within a collaborative team of therapists to help clients achieve independence through daily activities.

The role emphasizes flexible scheduling, driving mileage reimbursement, and opportunities for growth, with both full-time and per-diem options available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current, unrestricted Physical Therapist license in the practicing state.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification per state regulations.
• Minimum 1 year of PT work experience preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds; up to 100 pounds with safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform evaluations and develop treatment plans.
• Regularly reassess effectiveness of treatment plans; attend staffing meetings.
• Perform discharge evaluations and provide home/community safety recommendations.
• Communicate patient needs and progress to the treatment team, physician, and family.
• Coordinate with other disciplines to ensure collaboration and better outcomes.
