Job summary

Rehab Without Walls Neuro Rehabilitation in Florence, SC seeks a Physical Therapist to provide functional rehabilitation in home and community settings, including the kitchen, grocery store, and workplace.

This role emphasizes real-life tasks and autonomous work within a collaborative team of therapists.

You will evaluate, treat, re-assess progress, and support safety and independence across home and community environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current, unrestricted PT license in the practicing state.
• Current BLS/CPR certification per state regulations.
• At least 1 year of PT experience preferred.
• Knowledge of neurorehabilitation techniques.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and transfer patients safely.

Responsibilities

• Perform evaluations and develop treatment plans.
• Regularly re-assess effectiveness of treatment plans and attend staffing meetings.
• Perform discharge evaluations and provide home/community safety recommendations.
• Communicate patient needs and progress to the treatment team, physician, patient and family.
• Collaborate with other disciplines to enhance patient outcomes.
