Job summary

Elara Caring is seeking a Care Team Supervisor in Portland, ME to lead a team of caregivers, coordinate schedules, and ensure high-quality patient-centered care. The role emphasizes staff development, regulatory compliance, and partnership with branch leadership.

The ideal candidate will have strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills, with experience in healthcare operations and Medicare/Medicaid knowledge being a plus. Local travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and schedule homemaking, personal care, and home health aide services.
• Maintain client service records, plans of care, caregiver schedules, and documentation.
• Review and manage contract-specific documentation and authorizations.
• Educate clients on services, policies, and regulations.
• Support branch growth and operational planning efforts.
• Monitor billing, payroll, utilization, and service delivery.
• Process caregiver timesheets and collaborate with payroll.
