Job summary

Trinity Health in Silver Spring, MD seeks a Home Care Hospice Educator to design, implement, and evaluate education for home care while ensuring compliance with regulations. You will work with home care managers to orient and develop staff, and coordinate student learning with schools and universities.

The role includes serving as the informatics liaison for Epic and learning management systems, supporting nurse education, and contributing to an efficient documentation workflow.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved Nursing education program; BSN preferred.
• Ten years of nursing practice with five in Hospice education or leadership.
• Preferred CPR Instructor Certification.
• Proficient in Microsoft applications for instructional documents and curricula.

Responsibilities

• Assess, develop, implement, and evaluate education for home care with regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with home care managers to orient and develop staff and integrate new colleagues.
• Coordinate student learning activities with schools, colleges, and universities.
• Serve as informatics liaison for technologies (Epic, LMS, etc.) and training materials.
