Job summary

Visiting Angels Des Moines is seeking compassionate non-medical caregivers to assist seniors in their homes in Des Moines, West Des Moines, Urbandale and nearby communities. A CNA background or caregiving experience helps you earn families' trust, with hands-on training at our Urbandale office.

You will provide personal care, safe transfers, meal reminders, light housekeeping, and dementia care, delivering companionship that isn’t rushed.

Qualifications

• Non-medical home care role; no clinical tasks required.
• Experience as CNA or in caregiving builds trust with families.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care such as bathing, dressing, grooming and toileting.
• Assist with safe transfers and mobility support.
• Support fall prevention and home safety.
• Assist with meals, reminders for medications, light housekeeping and errands.
• Deliver dementia and Alzheimer’s care and companionship.
