Job summary

Addus HomeCare in Sunland Park, NM is seeking a Home Care Aide - Core to support seniors and people with disabilities living at home. The role is on-call five days per week with at least one weekend day and a 40-hour schedule (20 hours guaranteed).

You will follow care plans, assist with daily tasks, and coordinate with the office for assignments. The position requires reliable transportation, the ability to lift and assist clients, and strong communication.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age.
• Must be able to pass a criminal background check.
• Must have reliable transportation and, if by car, a valid driver_s license and proof of insurance.

Responsibilities

• Follow specific care plans for clients and report on completed tasks.
• Assist with personal care needs of the client (bathing, dressing, etc.).
• Provide or assist in routine house cleaning, meal preparation, and laundry.
• Transport client to doctor appointments, grocery stores and other errands.
• Assist client with self-administration of medications.
• Observe and report changes in client's condition.
• On-call five days per week with at least one weekend day.
• On-call for 24-hour shifts.
