Job summary

Addus Homecare in New Mexico is urgently hiring a Flex Home Care Aide - Core to support seniors and people with disabilities living at home. This on-call role requires dedication, compassion, and the ability to follow care plans.

You will work 5 days per week (including at least one weekend day), about 40 hours, with 20 hours guaranteed, and a schedule determined by your supervisor. You may assist with personal care, housekeeping, meals, transportation, and medications.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must pass a criminal background check.
• Reliable transportation with valid license and insurance if driving.
• Nurturing and compassionate by nature.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Call the office every morning for assignment.
• Follow care plans and report on tasks completed.
• Assist with personal care (bathing, dressing, etc.).
• Assist with house cleaning, meals, and laundry.
• Transport client to appointments and errands.
• Assist with self-administration of medications.
• Observe and report changes in client condition.
