Home Instead is seeking a Home Care Aide to provide compassionate, one-on-one in-home support to seniors. You will help with daily activities, meals, and mobility, while offering companionship and ensuring safety in the home you love.

No professional caregiving experience is required, and paid training is provided. Flexible daytime, evening, overnight, and weekend shifts are available to fit your life.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, non-medical support to help seniors maintain independence and quality of life.
• Assist with personal care such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support.
• Provide companionship, conversation, and social engagement.
• Prepare meals and encourage proper nutrition.
• Perform light housekeeping and laundry.
• Provide medication reminders per care plans.
• Assist with transportation to appointments and errands.
• Support individuals with Alzheimer's or other forms of dementia.
• Create a safe, comfortable home environment and report changes.

Pay & Schedule

Pay: $15.50-$19.00 per hour

Additional $2.00/hour weekend differential

Daytime, evening, overnight and weekend shifts available

What You'll Do

As a Home Care Aide, you'll provide compassionate, non-medical support that helps seniors maintain their independence and quality of life.

• Assisting with personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility support
• Providing companionship, conversation, and social engagement
• Preparing meals and encouraging proper nutrition
• Performing light housekeeping and laundry
• Providing medication reminders according to care plans
• Assisting with transportation to appointments and errands
• Supporting individuals living with Alzheimer's disease and other forms of dementia
• Creating a safe, comfortable, and positive home environment
• Observing and reporting changes in client condition
• Maintaining accurate documentation and confidentiality

Minimum Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license
• Reliable transportation and current auto insurance
• Ability to provide physical assistance, including transfers and mobility support when necessary
• Ability to pass a criminal background check, motor vehicle record check, drug screening, and other pre-employment screenings as required
