Job summary

Assisting Hands of Lee's Summit is seeking compassionate in-home caregivers / home health aides to provide care and companionship to seniors and adults who wish to remain safely at home. You will offer non-medical support including companionship, meal prep, light housekeeping, and mobility assistance to help clients stay independent.

We value caregivers who are reliable, patient, and eager to learn, with training and support provided.

What You’ll Do

Our caregivers provide non-medical support that helps clients remain independent and comfortable at home. Depending on the client, your responsibilities may include:

Companionship and conversation

Meal preparation

Light housekeeping

Laundry and household tasks

Personal care and hygiene assistance

Mobility and transfer assistance

Medication reminders

Running errands and providing transportation when needed

Following each client's personalized care plan

Providing compassionate, respectful care

Who We’re Looking For

You don't have to be a professional caregiver to be a great caregiver!

We are looking for people who are:

Reliable and dependable

Responsible and trustworthy

Resourceful and willing to learn

Comfortable working independently in a client's home

Able to communicate clearly with clients, families, and our care team

Caregiving experience is preferred, but NOT required. We will provide the training and support you need to succeed.

Pay

$16–$17/hour depending on experience and qualifications.

We recognize experience and training, including CNA, EMT, and relevant education.
