Job summary

Clayton Home Building Group is seeking a motivated Home Consultant to guide customers through selecting floor plans, options, and coordinating the home construction process. You will create a world-class home buying experience, set appointments, and demonstrate features and benefits to drive sales.

The role emphasizes relationship-building, knowledge of mortgages/financing concepts, and a strong team orientation, including participation in training and company events.

Qualifications

• 6+ months of relationship-driven sales experience preferred.
• General understanding of the retail environment.
• Ability to obtain appropriate manufactured home sales licensing.
• Learn and comply with legal requirements related to manufactured homes.
• Strong verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work Saturdays and a team environment.
• Ability to walk the lot and show homes in all seasons.

Responsibilities

• Guide customers to identify a floor plan and options.
• Coordinate the construction process to deliver a world-class home buying experience.
• Set appointments from prospect databases and web leads.
• Demonstrate home features and benefits to create added value.
• Participate in sales meetings, training, and company functions.
