Job summary

Clayton Homes (New) is seeking a motivated Home Consultant in Owensboro, KY to guide customers through selecting floor plans, options, and coordinating the construction process. You will present model homes, demonstrate features, and drive appointments to create a world-class home buying experience.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months of relationship driven business to consumer sales preferred
• General understanding of the retail environment
• Ability to obtain appropriate manufactured home sales licensing
• Learn and comply with legal requirements that apply to the sale of manufactured homes
• Strong verbal communication skills
• Ability to excel and contribute to a team environment
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work required schedule, including Saturdays
• Professional demeanor and appearance
• Ability to walk the lot and show homes throughout all seasons
• Ability to move and lift furniture, promotional items, etc. (up to 75 lbs)
• Subject to criminal background check and drug screening

Responsibilities

• Create a world class home buying experience by assisting customers to identify a floor plan and options
• Coordinate the construction process and schedule with customers
• Present display homes and demonstrate features and benefits to add value
• Set appointments from prospect databases and web leads
• Maintain customer files and perform timely follow-up in the CRM
• Assist with merchandising and maintaining model home appearance
• Participate in sales meetings and training opportunities
• Work in a team environment and assist with miscellaneous duties as required
