Job summary

Clayton is seeking a Home Consultant in Edgewood, NM to guide customers to identify floor plans, select options, and coordinate the construction process. You will present features, demonstrate benefits, and set center visits from ads and web leads.

Base salary $50k plus commissions with unlimited earnings potential. Full-time in-shop roles include a balanced schedule and comprehensive benefits package. Clayton is an equal opportunity employer and a leader in attainable housing.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months of relationship-driven retail sales experience.
• Ability to obtain manufactured home sales licensing.
• Strong verbal communication and teamwork.
• Willing to work Saturdays.
• Must pass background check and drug screening.
• Ability to walk the lot and show homes in all seasons.
• Professional demeanor and appearance.

Responsibilities

• Guide customers to identify a floor plan and options and coordinate the construction process.
• Set home center visits using prospect database and convert ad calls and web leads to appointments.
• Present homes features and benefits to create added value for buyers.
• Maintain customer files and provide timely follow-up via the company CRM system.
• Participate in sales meetings, training opportunities, and company events.
