Comcast Advertising in Brunswick, GA seeks a Residential Installation & Service Technician to install and troubleshoot voice, video and data services in customers’ homes. You’ll perform on-site assessments, follow safety standards, and complete required training and certifications.

The role is physical, requires driving a company vehicle, lifting up to 70 pounds, working nights or weekends as needed, and delivering reliable, quality service with strong customer communication.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to lift up to 70 pounds and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Willingness to work nights, weekends, holidays and overtime as needed.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform residential installations, service changes, and disconnects following safety codes and procedures.
• Diagnose and resolve issues from the network to customer equipment.
• Install and support basic home networks using coaxial, Ethernet, and Wi‑Fi tech based on customer needs.
• Verify service quality using testing tools and adjust for reliable performance.
• Educate customers on products, services, and equipment use; set expectations.
• Accurately document completed work and update customer accounts digitally.
• Maintain, clean, and stock assigned vehicle, tools, and equipment; report safety concerns.
