Job summary

Comcast Corporation seeks an entry-level broadband installation technician to install and troubleshoot voice, video and data services in customers' homes and neighborhoods. The role requires flexible scheduling, including nights, weekends and holidays, with safety and quality as top priorities.

You will perform installations, diagnose issues, and educate customers while maintaining equipment and documentation. Benefits begin on Day 1, with health, dental and vision coverage and paid time off.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to complete required training, certifications and background checks within defined timeframes.
• Comfort working in customers’ homes and various environments, including outdoors.

Responsibilities

• Perform residential installations, service changes, and disconnects following safety practices and codes.
• Diagnose and resolve issues from network connection to customer equipment.
• Install and support home networks using coax, Ethernet, and Wi‑Fi per customer needs.
• Verify service quality with testing tools and adjust for reliability.
• Educate customers on products, services and proper use; set expectations.
• Document completed work and update customer accounts using digital tools.
• Maintain vehicle, tools and equipment; report safety or vehicle issues promptly.
• Operate ladders, hand tools, meters and light power tools safely.
• Work at heights up to 26 ft. and handle equipment within rated capacities.
• Drive company vehicle with a valid license; complete required trainings and licensing.
