Job summary

Comcast is seeking an entry-level broadband installation and troubleshooting technician. You will install services in customers’ homes, diagnose issues from the network to customer equipment, and follow safety standards and procedures.

The role offers $18.20 per hour, quarterly bonuses, paid training and comprehensive benefits effective on day one; occasional overtime and varying schedules including nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Perform residential installations, service changes, and disconnects following safety standards and company procedures.
• Diagnose and resolve issues from the network to customer equipment.
• Install and support basic home networks using coaxial, Ethernet, and Wi-Fi tech.
• Verify service quality with testing tools and adjust for reliability.
• Educate customers on products, services, equipment use, and expectations.
• Document work and update customer accounts using digital tools.
• Maintain vehicle, tools, and equipment; report safety concerns promptly.
• Operate ladders and tools safely and correctly.
• Work at heights up to 26 ft on ladders, roofs, or bucket trucks.
• Operate equipment within manufacturer weight limits.
• Lift 70+ lbs, work in crawl spaces/attics, near electrical sources.
• Drive a company vehicle and maintain a valid license.
• Complete required training, certifications, background checks and licensing on time.
• Communicate clearly with customers, supervisors, and coworkers.
• Meet or exceed performance and safety standards.
• Other duties as assigned.
