Job summary

Sunny Days, Inc. in California seeks Speech Therapists to provide home-based early intervention services to infants and toddlers and their families.

You will assess development and deliver speech therapy using the Parent Coaching Model, tailored to each child's IFSP. Join a nationwide agency with California programs, offering a sign-on bonus, flexible schedules, mileage reimbursement, monthly tech stipend, and benefits for part-time staff.

Qualifications

• California Speech Language Pathology license.
• Pediatric experience required (Early Intervention experience preferred).
• Strong clinical & interpersonal skills.
• Bilingual in Spanish a plus!.

Responsibilities

• Conduct developmental assessments, provide speech therapy services utilizing the Parent Coaching Model (Rush & Sheldon).
• Follow each child’s IFSP and work with the family to develop strategies to help each child reach their developmental goals.
• Utilize the family-centered parent coaching approach to build caregivers’ confidence and skills and to ensure that progress is generalized.
• Provide services in the child’s natural environment, in families’ homes, daycare centers and/or other community settings.
• Provide re-assessments and write progress reports (typically bi-annual).
• Maintain confidentiality of information regarding children and families (in accordance with HIPAA and/or State/Federal regulations).
