Job summary

JLL is seeking a Senior Commissioning Engineer to lead commissioning activities for substantial facility construction projects. This crucial position requires supporting the entire project lifecycle from design through post-construction.

The ideal candidate will have a comprehensive understanding of commissioning processes and experience with MEP systems. This role offers competitive compensation ranging from $117,000 to $143,000 per year, with benefits including a 401(k) plan, medical, dental, and vision care.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of relevant MEP engineering or field‑testing experience.
• Minimum 5 years providing building commissioning and/or construction QA/QC field services.
• Willingness to travel internationally when needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute comprehensive commissioning activities across all project phases.
• Conduct field‑based commissioning activities including site visits and functional testing.
• Manage end‑to‑end project documentation and review commissioning deliverables.

Skills

Expert knowledge of commissioning processes per ASHRAE, CSA, and LEED standards

Working knowledge of MEP equipment/systems installation

Proficiency using electrical testing meters

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Strong data management skills

Education

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent
