Job summary

Providence at Home with Compassus in Anchorage, AK is seeking a Hospice Registered Nurse (RN) to deliver person-centered care in patients' homes. You will assess needs, develop and direct plans of care with the IDG, administer medications, and participate in on-call duties within a team focused on comfort and quality of life.

Minimum requirements include an Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, current RN license, and BLS certification; 1 year hospice experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
• Current, unencumbered RN license.
• Preferred 1 year hospice or home health nursing experience.
• BLS certification within 30 days of hire (American Heart Association).

Responsibilities

• Complete patient/family assessment to determine hospice needs.
• Develop and direct Plan of Care with the IDG.
• Initiate and revise Plan of Care as patient status changes.
• Administer medications and treatments per the Plan of Care.
• Participate in on-call duties and maintain documentation.
