Job summary

Meals on Wheels San Antonio seeks a Field Coordinator to assess eligibility for home-delivered meals and coordinate referrals to needed services. You will travel to clients' homes using your own vehicle and maintain accurate files.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred but not required.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle.
• Ability to travel to client homes.

Responsibilities

• Assess client eligibility for Meals on Wheels San Antonio programs.
• Travel to clients' homes to conduct assessments.
• Maintain and update client files and related paperwork.
• Schedule and prioritize home visits; track mileage.
• Refer clients to other programs and accept donations as appropriate.
• Collaborate with Client Services and other coordinators.
• Screen referrals for eligibility and route them accordingly.
• Assist with meal delivery when needed.
• Work in a fast-paced, high-stress environment.
