Job summary

World Relief seeks a compassionate case manager to support newly arrived immigrant families in Winston-Salem. You will coordinate housing, health assessments, school enrollment, and access to social benefits, while providing trauma-informed care and culturally sensitive guidance.

Qualifications

• Experience in case management for vulnerable populations.
• Fluency in English required; bilingual ability highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Conduct airport pickups and welcome newly arrived immigrant households.
• Coordinate permanent housing placements, home setups, and basic-needs provisioning.
• Assist clients with Social Security and public benefits applications.
• Coordinate refugee health assessments with local health departments.
• Facilitate school enrollment and orientation for school-aged children.
• Screen clients and refer to internal programs and community resources.
• Provide specialized case management for vulnerable individuals and families.
• Conduct strength and needs assessments and monitor self-sufficiency plans.
• Maintain documentation, data collection, and outcome reporting.
• Collaborate with program staff, volunteers, and partners.
