Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited school of nursing.
• Proficient in English (verbal and written) and computer skills.
• Current Louisiana RN license and BLS; ACLS/PALS within 6 months; CPI and NIHSS within first year.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe therapeutic care in holistic and systematic manner.
• Perform psychosocial/physiologic assessments and discharge planning.
• Develop and adjust care plans based on patient needs and trends.
• Communicate and collaborate with health care team and families to optimize outcomes.
• Document all care activities per standards and assist with documentation processes.
• Lead/mentor team members and support unit quality improvement efforts.
