Qualifications

• One year acute care nursing experience.
• Graduate of accredited school of nursing.
• Proficient in English: verbal and written communication; computer skills.
• Current Louisiana State license as RN and BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe therapeutic care in a holistic and systematic approach.
• Perform psychosocial/physiologic assessments and education.
• Develop and update plan of care with patient education and discharge planning.
• Collaborate with health care team; communicate with patients and families.
• Document all patient care activities per standards; support documentation processes.
• Participate in quality improvement and unit-based initiatives.
