Job summary

GameStop is seeking a Seasonal Sales Associate to support the store team on a short-term basis during peak sales days, focusing on sales, customer service, and store maintenance. You will greet guests, recommend products, maintain visual standards, assist with stocking, and help meet sales and shrinkage goals while upholding company policies and ensuring a positive guest experience.

Availability during peak seasonal days and at least 18 years old are required; prior retail or guest service

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous retail sales or guest service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide best-in-class customer service by greeting guests and assisting with their video gaming needs.
• Fully support the store environment, visuals, and sales initiatives during the holiday season.
• Collaborate with the team to keep store areas clean, organized, and merchandised per guidelines.
• Assist in stocking and restocking merchandise and ensure products are well-presented on the floor.
• Help meet and exceed sales, profit, and shrinkage reduction goals.
• Address guest questions promptly and escalate issues to a store lead when needed.
• Support inventory control and loss prevention practices and follow safety procedures.
• Adhere to all GameStop policies, including attendance, confidentiality, and ethics.
