Job summary

GameStop is seeking a Seasonal Sales Associate to join the store team on a short-term basis. You will focus on delivering outstanding guest service, driving sales, maintaining the shopping environment, and supporting inventory during peak seasonal demand.

The role requires 18+ years of age, high school diploma preferred, and prior retail or guest service experience is a plus. Availability for nights, weekends, and holidays is expected.

Qualifications

• Provide best-in-class customer service by promptly greeting guests, assisting with video gaming needs, recommending items, and thanking guests.
• Support shopping environment and contribute to store sales initiatives during the holiday season.
• Collaborate with team to keep store clean, organized, and merchandised per guidelines.
• Demonstrate effective communication and friendly assistance to every guest, with English language proficiency; bilingual preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and assist with video game needs, recommend items, and complete transactions with courtesy.
• Keep the store visually appealing and aligned with company guidelines during peak seasons.
• Stock and restock merchandise, ensure products are well-presented and alphabetized on the floor.
• Help meet sales, profit, and shrinkage reduction goals.
• Address guest questions promptly and escalate when needed.
• Follow safety, loss prevention, and company policies.
