Job summary

Macy's is seeking an Ambassador who drives sales by connecting with customers and sharing vendor product knowledge. You will cultivate repeat clientele and act as the expert for designated vendors/brands, communicating customer needs to leadership and vendors, and executing merchandising initiatives.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated customer service and sales experience in retail.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team, with good time management.
• Flexible availability including days, evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Comfortable with Macy's point of sale systems and store devices.

Responsibilities

• Provide an exceptional customer experience and prioritize the customer.
• Greet customers, make product recommendations, and upsell.
• Liaise between vendors, personal stylists, and store leadership.
• Keep sales floor neat, signed for sales and markdowns.
• Drive sales and gross margin with best practices.
• Build brand-specific clientele for local marketing.
• Plan and lead vendor-sponsored events to meet goals.
• Be proficient with store tech to wrap up sales warmly.
