Qualifications

• At least 1 year of selling or retail experience.
• Strong relationship-building and communication skills.
• Flexible days, evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Comfortable using computers and handheld devices.
• Experience with Macy's POS systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide an exceptional customer experience prioritizing the customer.
• Greet customers, make product recommendations, and upsell.
• Act as liaison between vendors, personal stylists, and store leadership.
• Keep the sales floor neat, signed, and merchandised for sales and markdowns.
• Plan and lead vendor-sponsored events and local marketing efforts.
• Build brand-specific clientele to support local marketing goals.
• Wrap up sales using Macy's point of sale systems in a warm manner.
• Foster a respectful, inclusive environment with colleagues and customers.
