Job summary

GameStop is seeking a Seasonal Sales Associate to support the store team during peak days, delivering outstanding guest service and promoting the Circle of Life buy, sell, trade, and reservation model.

You will focus on sales, store maintenance, and customer service activities, helping guests with video game needs and ensuring a welcoming shopping environment throughout the holiday season.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous retail sales or guest service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide best-in-class customer service by greeting guests and assisting them with their video gaming needs.
• Fully support the overall shopping environment, including visual and operational aspects, and contribute to all store sales initiatives during the holiday season.
• Collaborate with the store team to keep areas clean, organized, and merchandised according to guidelines.
• Assist in stocking and restocking merchandise and ensure products are well-presented and alphabetized on the selling floor.
• Assist in meeting and exceeding sales, profit, and shrinkage reduction goals.
• Address guest questions promptly and escalate issues to a store keyholder.
• Support inventory control and loss prevention practices, including safety awareness.
• Adhere to GameStop policies and procedures, including attendance and confidentiality.
