Job summary

The Management Trust in Ventura, CA is seeking a Community Association Manager to oversee operations, maintenance, and board relations for assigned communities. You will lead proactive planning, coordinate with support teams, and ensure delivery of services to residents and boards.

You will manage budgets, schedule inspections, and coordinate vendor bids while ensuring compliance with governing documents and state regulations. This role requires strong leadership and effective communication.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year of experience as a Community Manager handling the listed duties.
• Industry certifications or licensing may be required (state dependent).
• Solid knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.
• Strong leadership abilities and comfort with public speaking (small and large groups).
• Ability to meet deadlines and address time-sensitive issues.
• Willing to learn company processes and proprietary software.
• Work independently with accountability to leadership for end results.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of assigned communities (single family, townhomes, condos, or commercial).
• Coordinate with multiple support teams to oversee tasks and deliverables for associations.
• Maintain visibility and communication with clients to meet board goals for relevance, budget, and quality of service.
• Guide Board members using Leadership Management (proactive planning).
• Oversee proactive planning, large-scale projects, and legal deadlines; serve as primary contact for the Board and committees.
• Conduct periodic site inspections to oversee projects and compliance with association rules.
• Communicate updates to support teams and ensure adherence to governing documents and regulations.
• Review governing documents and applicable state/local regulations for each community.
