Job summary

The Cam Team, Inc. seeks an HOA Accounting Specialist to manage financial operations for homeowners associations. You will maintain precise ledgers, process AP/AR, and prepare regular financial statements while ensuring compliance with governing documents and laws.

In this role you will support boards, property managers, and auditors, handle billing and collections, and assist with budgets and audits. Monday–Friday in-office environment with integrity and confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Associate’s degree in Accounting or related field.
• Minimum 2 years in accounting; HOA/property management preferred.
• Knowledge of GAAP and fund accounting.
• Proficiency with Strongroom, QuickBooks, and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Maintain general ledger records for assigned HOAs.
• Process AP/AR, vendor invoices, and homeowner assessments.
• Reconcile bank, reserve, and investment accounts.
• Manage special assessments and billing/collections per HOA policies.
• Prepare monthly financial statements, balance sheets, and income statements.
• Support budgets, reserve studies, and forecasting; assist audits and tax filings.
