Job summary

U.S. Facilities, Inc. is seeking an HMMS Planner/Scheduler to support VDOT Hampton Roads Harbor Tunnels maintenance in Suffolk/Newport News, VA.

The role manages work orders from inception to completion according to contracts and SOPs, coordinating with vendors and VDOT to ensure timely delivery. Proficiency in MS Office and strong organizational skills are essential, along with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 2- or 4-year college degree in related field preferred; high school diploma or GED required
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in an administrative support role in an office environment
• Proficiency in MS Office; ten-key data entry and keyboard typing
• Strong written and oral communication skills in English
• Understanding of contracts and purchasing; budgeting experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Prepare procurement packages for approval and payment
• Manage work order process and development
• Coordinate and schedule all work by outside contractors with VDOT and vendors
• Update HMMS work orders and maintain organized contractor files
• Provide technical report analysis and follow up
• Answer calls and organize meetings
• Handle multiple projects concurrently
• Assist in regular reports and other duties as assigned
