Job summary

The Wellspring is seeking an HMIS Data Monitor to maintain and safeguard client data, ensuring accurate entry and routine monitoring in HMIS. The role emphasizes compassionate, trauma-informed client interactions and strict data confidentiality.

You will follow established procedures, support data reporting, and collaborate with staff while managing appointments and front-desk duties as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; some college or business/computer courses preferred.
• Experience with databases and spreadsheets or data entry systems is desirable.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail; ability to multitask.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills with compassionate, trauma-informed client interaction; able to follow procedures.
• HMIS experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Greet clients and check in for appointments in a warm, respectful manner.
• Verify appointment details and input data into HMIS accurately.
• Maintain and monitor client records; ensure confidentiality and data safety.
• Prepare monthly/quarterly/annual reports from HMIS data.
• Respond to inquiries and direct calls to appropriate staff for timely resolution.
• Follow prescribed data entry procedures and assist with data quality checks.
