Job summary

Shield AI is hiring a Hivemind Field Solutions Engineer to support technical sales, customer engagements, demonstrations, and capture activities for Hivemind across the Americas. You will serve as a customer-facing technical expert translating mission needs into credible, feasible solutions.

Role requires strong autonomy, mission software, simulation, and AI-enabled systems expertise, with experience in DoD simulation environments and synthetic data workflows.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in solutions engineering, field applications engineering, systems engineering, technical sales, autonomy, robotics, simulation, or related roles.
• Strong understanding of autonomy, AI-enabled systems, mission software, simulation environments, or complex defense technology systems.
• Experience supporting demos, technical briefings, proposal support, integration discussions, or technical interchange meetings.
• Experience with DoD-style simulation environments, live-virtual-constructive environments, synthetic training, or mission rehearsal workflows.
• Ability to translate customer mission needs into technically feasible solutions and provide product feedback.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for diverse audiences incl. leadership.
• Willingness to travel for customer engagements and internal meetings.

Responsibilities

• Lead demos, technical interchange meetings, RFIs, RFPs, and white papers for Hivemind across the Americas.
• Translate customer needs into credible, technically feasible solutions.
• Collaborate with BD, Product, Engineering, and Program teams to align roadmap with customer missions.
• Explain complex technical concepts to technical, operational, BD, and leadership audiences.
• Support proposals, capture activities, and customer-specific solution development.
