Job summary

Shield AI is hiring a Field Solutions Engineer, Hivemind to support technical sales, customer engagements, demonstrations, and capture activities for Hivemind, Shield AI’s autonomy solution for unmanned systems.

The role serves as a customer-facing technical expert, translating mission needs into credible Hivemind concepts, supporting RFIs/RFPs, briefings, and technical narratives across defense customers while traveling for engagements.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in solutions engineering, field applications engineering or related customer-facing roles.
• Strong understanding of autonomy, AI-enabled systems, unmanned platforms, or defense tech.
• Experience supporting demos, briefings, RFIs/RFPs, and technical workshops.
• Ability to translate mission needs into credible, technically feasible concepts and feedback.
• Excellent written and verbal communication across technical, commercial, and leadership audiences.
• Ability to work cross-functionally and travel for customer engagements.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a customer-facing technical expert for Hivemind autonomy solutions.
• Support discovery, briefings, demonstrations, and capture activities.
• Translate customer needs into credible Hivemind concepts and requirements.
• Develop technical sales assets, briefs, demos, and white papers.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Program teams to reflect customer feedback.
