Job summary

The State of North Carolina - Health & Human Services is seeking a Program Coordinator IV (S) to support statewide HIV/AIDS surveillance data quality. You will manage data in eHARS and NC EDSS, review reporting workflows, and coordinate rapid field follow-up for pertinent cases.

You will serve as the primary contact for pediatric HIV surveillance activities, prepare data sets for management and CDC reporting, and work with partners to ensure timely, accurate data while maintaining strict

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience with public health surveillance data and reporting.
• Ability to communicate clearly with diverse audiences and maintain data confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate HIV surveillance data in eHARS and NC EDSS for statewide reporting.
• Evaluate case-report workflows and ensure timely regional follow-up for field investigation.
• Serve as primary contact for Pediatric HIV surveillance data collection.
• Review incoming case information to enable rapid interview and data extraction.
• Prepare and submit data sets for management review and CDC reporting.
