Acadiana CARES in conjunction with the Louisiana Department of Health STI/HIV/Hepatitis Program is seeking an HIV Surveillance Supervisor to oversee statewide HIV surveillance. The role tracks approximately 1,200 new HIV and AIDS diagnoses and 625,000 HIV-related lab reports each year.

The candidate will supervise surveillance staff, ensure data quality, and use SAS to clean, link, and analyze data, while also managing outbreak response data and producing reports and dashboards for partners.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in public health, biostatistics, epidemiology, or a related field.
• 2+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience with SAS and Microsoft Office.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Preferred: HIV or other infectious disease data experience; Tableau or ArcGIS; supervisory experience.
