Job summary

The State of Georgia's Department of Public Health is seeking an Assistant Data Manager to coordinate HIV data capture and reporting. You will oversee data submissions, monitor quality, and support training for district and site users, ensuring real-time, compliant data across the system.

You will assist with routine data analysis, generate tables and visuals for leadership updates, and help prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reports.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in operations management, business administration, or related field with managerial experience.
• Preferred master's in public health or related field plus two years in program planning or evaluation.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily flow of electronic and paper HIV data submissions from all health districts and sites.
• Monitor data quality dashboards; identify errors and coordinate corrections.
• Support data quality checks, routine reporting, and data analysis.
• Help prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reports; assist with visuals.
• Provide onboarding and training for district staff on data systems.
• Escalate complex issues to Data Manager and coordinate with IT/vendor.
