Shields Health Solutions in California seeks an experienced pharmacy technician to support off-site clinic operations, handle prior authorizations, financial assistance, patient onboarding, and refill services while upholding privacy and quality standards.

You will educate patients about hospital pharmacy services, help grow the specialty pharmacy patient population per Shields programs, document data in EMR and Therigy, and contribute to process improvements with strong Excel and communication

Qualifications

State-registered pharmacy technician in California.
2–3 years of Pharmacy Technician experience; 3–5 preferred.
High school diploma or GED required.

Responsabilités

Provide prior authorization, financial assistance, patient onboarding, and refill support.
Educate patients about hospital pharmacy services and benefits.
Grow specialty pharmacy patient population per Shields programs.
Document patient data in EMR (Therigy and Shields tools).
Input data, adjudicate test claims, and develop follow-up action plans.
Contribute to process improvements and maintain confidentiality.
