Shields Health Solutions seeks experienced pharmacy technicians to provide off-site support to patients, pharmacists, and providers, handling prior authorizations, benefit investigations, medication onboarding, and refill support.

Requires state-registered tech, CPHT preferred, 2–3 years (3–5 preferred) experience, HS diploma, and licensure within a mutually agreed timeframe. Salary in California: $70,304–$75,000 plus bonus; strong MS Office skills and confidentiality expected.

• 2–3 years of experience as a Pharmacy Technician required; 3–5 years preferred.
• State-registered pharmacy technician; CPHT certification strongly preferred but not required.
• HS Diploma or GED required and licensure within mutually agreed timeframe.

Responsabilidades

• Provide off-site, full-suite medication management services to patients.
• Assist with prior authorizations and benefit investigations.
• Educate patients on how hospital pharmacy serves their care and ensure renewals are secured.
• Document patient information in EMR and Shields tools; protect confidentiality.
