Job summary

Pennsbury Manor, the historic home of William Penn, seeks a skilled Maintenance Repairman 2 to perform regular repair and preventative maintenance on buildings, systems, and equipment, as well as groundskeeping and other support for site operations.

Located in Bucks County, PA, this full-time role requires hands-on trades experience across building, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC, with safe, efficient work and clear communication.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience as a Maintenance Repairman 1 or equivalent in building and plant maintenance.
• Possess a valid Pennsylvania Class C Driver's License.
• Experience with multiple trades (electrical, plumbing, carpentry, HVAC) and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• General Maintenance: cleaning, repair, and upkeep of site buildings, exhibits, and grounds.
• Electrical Work: install and maintain wiring, fixtures, circuits and related equipment.
• Plumbing Tasks: repair and maintain plumbing fixtures, pipes, and heating or water lines.
• Grounds Care: cut grass, trim shrubs, remove debris, and perform basic landscaping.
• Carpentry and Repairs: use power tools to repair doors, furniture, partitions, and wooden structures.
• Equipment Upkeep: service outdoor maintenance equipment such as mowers, tractors, and utility vehicles.
