Job summary

Commonwealth of Pennsylvania's Landis Valley Village & Farm Museum in Lancaster County invites applications for a Maintenance Repairman I. The role covers building maintenance, custodial support, and groundskeeping across a 100-acre living history site.

Expect hands-on work across multiple trades, tool operation, and year-round site operations. Evening shift 4:00 PM–12:00 AM, Tuesday–Saturday, with a 30-minute lunch; a PA driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience in general maintenance involving two or more trades.
• Valid Pennsylvania Class C Driver's License required.
• Two+ years of experience in maintenance with hands-on repair and groundskeeping work.

Responsibilities

• Perform building maintenance and routine repairs; assist with preventative maintenance on structures and systems.
• Mow, trim, snow removal, and seasonal upkeep around the site.
• Operate and maintain tools and equipment for daily tasks.
• Keep museum areas clean, safe, and visitor-ready; support events and activities.
