Quest Diagnostics Incorporated is seeking a Histology Group Lead in Pompano Beach, FL. The role runs Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with rotational weekend responsibilities.

The position offers a competitive pay rate and opportunities for annual bonus based on performance. Key duties include assisting the supervisor, performing Histotechnologist II tasks, staff training, and ensuring QA/QC and regulatory compliance across the histology lab.

Formación

• 3 years histology experience; 6 years for supervisory coverage in a NYS licensed lab.
• Associates degree required; Bachelors preferred.
• Current state licensure, HT (ASCP) required.
• HTL (ASCP) preferred; NAACLS accredited Histotechnology program preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Assist supervisor in day-to-day histology lab operations.
• Capable of performing duties of Histotechnologist II.
• Provide training and guidance to technicians, students and lab aides.
• Perform specimen preparation on non-gynecological specimens including FNA.
• Assist in equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Ensure compliance with QC, CLIA and CAP standards.
