Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited college/university in histology, biology or having emphasized anatomical, biological, and chemical sciences and minimum 2 years laboratory experience; or Associate of Science degree from an accredited college/university in histology, biology or having emphasized anatomical, biological, and chemical science required and a minimum 4 years laboratory experience.

Responsibilities

• Processing, embedding, and microtomy of all surgical tissues; and frozen section staining; routine H&E and special staining such as electrom microtomy, immunofluorescence, and immunohistochemistry; tissue processing; equipment maintenance and record retention; and knowledge of pathology Laboratory Information System.
