Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Logs in specimens and assigns an accession number.
• Processes Cytology specimens and assists Pathologists when grossing; basic staining.
• Maintains a file of tissue blocks and slides.
• Prepares Histology and Cytology specimens with accurate identification.
• Assists in gathering and compiling QA statistics.
• Keeps inventory of supplies current.
